• Started in 1994 as our son’s 4-H goat project & has evolved into a small herd of Saanen goats with owners who are striving to produce excellent milk producing show quality Saanen goats.

 
• All of our goat kids are raised on a strict CAE prevention program – no positive tests EVER & we test all animals over 12 months of age annually.

 
• Goats are bottle fed heat treated colostrum & pastuerized goat milk & are used extensively in a 4-H club where 4-Hers work with the leased animals, therefore the animals are very friendly & sociable. 

• Extensive research has been done to maintain an excellent diet – historic analysis of hay, water, pasture – helped us pick Purina Goat Chow & Purina Goat Minerals as our feed of choice.  Animals have been fed alfalfa/grass hay & Purina goat chow since 2001 & continue to love the “chow”.

• Linear Appraisal is conducted at least every other year

 
• We have been on DHIR test since Spring, 2000.  Two does flagged for Top Ten verification tests for butterfat in 2003.
